Update: I just woke her to try taming her. I tried picking her up from above and she flipped out really badly. She kept escaping my hand and started squealing. I kept doing it and I tried to get her to walk across my hands. She would just jump off right away.
I tried for maybe five minutes before letting her rest. I'm not sure if that really helped... I guess after I picked her up a couple of times, she would go still in my hand for several seconds rather than immediately try to escape. Do I just keep trying to lift and put her down until she is used to that? Or am I doing something wrong?
