Have to say I’d go with the Barney if a bigger cage is an option, even if it needs more items in there to set it up correctly. Don’t think a full level would be necessary I’d probably go with another shelf on the other side and ramps/ladders and free standing levels in between. Don’t think it would be too difficult to set up. I do think even a hamster heaven can be on the small side for some dwarfs and when buying a cage for the first time it isn’t something I’d personally want to risk - a Barney has more floor space and a deeper base.
