Hi, for the last couple of days my hamster has been making strange sounds, something like a puppy crying. What is really strange is that physically she seems fine, she eats and drinks normally, walks as usual and she doesn't seem to have any external injuries. I'm wondering what could have caused that, the only thing that I changed in her cage was that I switched from a water bottle to a water dish and I added some hay mixed with a little chamomile to her nest, and sprinkled it around the cage, but I don't think that an allergic reaction could have caused her to make such sounds. I still plan on removing some of the hay and see how it goes. What could be the cause? What should I do?
