Squawking
Hello Everyone
Just looking for a bit of advice.
We have a Syrian Hamster who is about 9 months old. Up until about 2 weeks ago she was perfectly quiet but just recently she’s been making squawking noises at intermittent periods. Sometimes it’s in her cage...sometimes it’s when she’s being handled or just out in our room having a run about.
Really concerned as I read it could be because she’s in pain or frightened. She’s still eating and drinking and her mobility is ok.
Can hamsters sprain their legs maybe?
I’m worried to handle her in case she is in pain and I make it worse.
I’d be really grateful for any insight into this. Xx
