Default Re: cage change stressed Russian dwarf hamster

What mangoandmimi said!
It can take them up to a couple of weeks even to adjust to a new cage & it's best to just give them time & not change or clean anything apart from spot cleaning pee fora . few weeks while she settles in.
What you're seeing just sounds as though she's scent marking a lot which is natural so try not to worry.

Once she's had plenty of time to settle try interacting with her out of the cage in a playpen or other safe area where she will be much less likely to bite, they sometimes really don't like hands in the cage but are fine out of the cage.
