I have ordered some things from Viovet - Chinchilla sand used to be cheaper and I'd get two at a time to save on postage. And the odd toy - but I wouldn't get food or treats from there. After my moth outbreak! And after someone else had the same thing - but still not sure if it was something from Viovet. Zooplus are fine but they have a minimum order amount so you need to get a few things at the same time. Again I tend to buy two bags of food eg to meet the minimum and save on postage.

I have used Amazon more for Hamster food, toys/tunnels etc. And Rodipet. I found Viovet's website frustrating and slow and hard to find things and they don't sell much in the way of bedding.

It depends what you're looking for really. Substrate - I order direct from Fitch. The main cage accessories I like are the cork tunels and I get those from Rodipet because they do them in the right size (and various sizes) for a hamster cage, plus I get some hamster food from there now and stock up on it to save on postage too often. I like the big savic rat tunnel - if I was buying something else from Zooplus - eg a cage, or a wheel or hamster food, I'd get the tunnel and occasional toy there. If not I'd get it from Amazon.

Rat rations sell rat sputniks as well and you can choose your colours there. Otherwise I get those either from Amazon or Zooplus but the colour choice is limited to black/grey or pink/purple.

Hamster treat sticks I usually get from Amazon - the Rosewood naturals ones. And my other favourite toy apart from the sputniks is the hyacinth tunnel which I've usually got from Amazon.

I have bought Rodipet houses for our hamsters, which aren't cheap but they are great so haven't needed to shop around for those.

Packaging and delivery: Packaging from Viovet was always very good and a choice of delivery time options - next day was an option I think or first class. Packaging from Zooplus is fine - delivery can be a bit slow sometimes, other times it arrives quite quickly.

Delivery from Rodipet is usually superfast.
