It doesn't sound as though the grooming was anything to worry about then, glad to hear she's settling well & gaining confidence now.
Being a bit nippy could be caused by all sorts of things, any different smells on your hands or any changes that might have unsettled her a bit like cage cleaning maybe, it's hard to guess so see how she goes with that for now.
