We have a rather large Syrian and we love our 12" silent runner. It truly is silent (all you hear are the pitter patter of his feet, which is very cute) and the 12" is best for all Syrians. With that size, they don't have to arch their backs. I was taken aback at how huge it looked when we first bought it, but Teddy does absolutely fine on it.
