Just thought I'd introduce our new hamster Peanuts. He got wet tail a couple of days after we got him and had to have treatment from a vet but he's a tough little cookie and thankfully he fully recovered
I'm still really unclear about what size wheel to get. The one that came with his cage was too small, then I bought a large Trixie wheel which was too big and didn't fit! Now he has a 7.5 inch running disk. I also bought an 8.5 inch superpet comfort wheel which was perfect but I'm sending it back because it was really noisy and wobbly. Jeez you'd think it would be simple. Apparently Wondent wheels are good but they don't stock them in the UK.
