Well the fact that there's now no bars to chew gives her one less way to show boredom so it doesn't necessarily mean that she's now content in the new bin. I find it really hard to believe female syrians can really be content in a bin that size to be honest, but I suppose it's down to the individual hamster. Anyway sometimes taking bars away does seem to eliminate the problem, maybe they do get a bit obsessed with bars sometimes but I'm still sure the main reason is because of boredom. Is she trying to climb up the sides of the bin now? Either way I'd watch her over the next few days and see if anything changes, as the disappearance of the bars is sure to have confused her!
