Ha ha - our robo used to build a big mountain of bedding under his shelf and then tunnel down into it - he didn't manage to make a bare patch though
I think it's them saying - they want it deep enough to dig a tunnel or burrow - at least at one end.
Our Robo has a big labyrinth house now and doesnt do the substrate shifting any more - the house has made him lazy!
