No, he’s not squashed. The plank has two stumps on it to hold it up. It’s just that the substrate is deep enough to cover the legs so it’s like it’s flat on the surface if you see what I mean! Hence me not being able to find him.

He was up and about again last night but is still terrified of my hand in the cage. I also haven’t seen him touch the water bottle at all, although he did have a bit of cucumber last night.

I will try to stop worrying about everything and just leave him to his own devices over the weekend! Hopefully by next week he’ll start letting me give him some treats and lose his nerves a bit. He’s only a baby after all I guess!
