Default Re: Your thoughts on silent spinners?

I am not a fan of silent spinners. They’re quite a poor quality wheel tbh. They are known to jam up and fall apart- not a very good thing for a small hamster who requires lots of exercise! I find that hamsters tend to fly off more when they’re on wheels that are too small. I personally recommend a wheel such as the silent runner/wodent wheel/trixie. These three are all much higher quality than the silent spinner.

The saucer wheel should be sufficient for a short time, but hamsters really should have a standard wheel to run on. I’ll leave a few links to high quality wheels below

The UK forum members may have better sites and resources to purchase these wheels from. Best wishes!
