Hi all. I've owned hamsters before but that was about ten years ago when I was much younger. I'm 18 now and living with my boyfriend. About two months ago we decided to get a hamster together. We bought a cage the same day from Pets at Home for £20. After watching ErinsAnimals videos on youtube I've become a little concerned about the size of her cage. It isn't obscenely small. I've switched out the four inch wheel that the cage cage came with for an 7-8 inch wheel and Clover seems very happy to run for hours on this wheel. I have fit lots of tubes inside and outside of the cage and she has a big glass coffee jar as her hide and deep bedding to burrow in. She has lots of chews made of wood as well has dog biscuits to keep her teeth worn down. I was considering building her an Ikea Billy cage.
