So a few years ago, my father purchased a lemon scented wooden chip substrate and i used it for my hamsters, one did lose a bit of fur on its underneath but there were no major problems, but I think they are bad for them, especially the scent? I just need to convince him to get a paper based substrate but i don't know how can anyone help?
