This is perfectly fine. Some hamsters keep to a very strict sleep pattern whereas others vary greatly depending on the particular day, the weather, the activities taking place surrounding them, and/or the time of the year. Hamper may begin to start getting a more specific sleep schedule as he settles in more, but it is absolutely alright if he decides to keep it irregular and keep you guessing, lol. Have fun!
