You can watch her when she wakes up.she is likely to wee soon after she wakes. Syrian hamsters often choose a corner as the pee area. It can take them a while to choose. Once she chooses you can remove some of the substrate/sand. Leave a little as the smell encourages them to keep going there to wee.
