Thanks dreamtree, he's a bit more settled this morning, he only emptied his sand bath once!  He was worrying me a bit yesterday but seems more his normal, cheeky self this morning, I'm sure age will be catching up with even the Peter Pan of hamsters to some extent but hopefully it's nothing more than that.
