You are correct, those cages are designed (though still highly unsuitable) more for syrians.
It is good you plan to get a new cage but I would remove the tubes and wheel part asap as it does look quite a height and if they get stuck in either they could be at risk not being able to access water.
Also, I have no experience with WW but to successfully keep a pair they need space so they don't fight. Your WW are young but kept in that cage as they mature is increasing the risk of fighting.
Do you have access to a storage tub you could make into a bin cage? There are plenty of examples in our housing section.
