I've had Tofu for about 6 weeks now. She will happily take a treat from between my fingers however she is still very hesitant to go near my hand when it is flat in her cage even if there is a treat on the very edge.
I know it's so wrong because she could become so scared and take us so many steps back but I just wanted to hold her so bad so I cupped her in my hands. She hated it trying to break free. I held her for maybe ten seconds because I had to reassemble some bits in her cage because they had moved a bit.

I feel really bad. I gave her 2 mealworms today instead of 1.

I just miss being able to hold a hamster and stroke it and play with it.
