So I was told my hamster was only a couple of months old when I got him from petsmart, but he was already 6 inches and bigger then the ones he was in the cage with.So I don't really know how old he really is. He's a chocolate colored Syrian hamster, 6 inches and weighs 120g. I have had him for about a month now. My question is; Is it normal for his longer hair around his back and on his sides ( basically all his longer hair) to turn grey? does that mean he is really older then what I was told or is it a natural occurrence for any age hamster with his fur type?
