Kendrick seems to chew the bars a lot, I've read that this can result in pain for hamsters! I've given her 3-4 pieces of wood (pet store bought) and a few other things to chew on, but she seems to be a lot more interested in chewing the bars instead.
I've tried the olive oil method and it seemed to work for a few hours, now she's back at it again, any remedies/idea which can alleviate this problem? I've heard that most grow out of this eventually but I don't want her to develop a habit of chewing the cages as she may hurt herself.
Thank you!

What cage do you have her in? Cage chewing can indicate boredom if the cage is not big enough..
