Serendipity! He might be a vocal hammy
I've only had him for such a short time that I can't say I know all there is to know about him. Especially, since our bonding seems to have regressed throughout the duration of his treatment. Pippin is the first pet that I've got as an adult. I did have two Syrians as a kid (although, to be honest, my mum was doing most of the caring for them) and none of them made these kinds of noises ever. But then, every hammy is an individual. Also, the information about the hamster care is nowadays so much more advanced and everything is so new to me. I am looking forward to learning more about Pippin (and hamsters in general) and hopefully seeing him grow up healthy and happy.
