So I've had some Snowflake supreme shavings for awhile. It says its kiln dried softwood (a mix) and has very good reviews for not being dusty and good for (horses specifically) animals with respiratory problems.
My current winter white hybrid is on this and i was wondering if i got some paper shredding (either carefresh or safe diy stuff) and mixed it with this bedding would it be safe to use?

My dads mice have been on only (dirty because he never cleaned them out the poor things) pine shavings and he's had three sets that have all lasted to at least 5 years old and never had any respiratory issues expect one who got ill at about 4

I want to keep my hamster healthy but I'm loosing quite a bit of money that i dont have if i have to bin all of this bedding (I'm also worried about my rabbits being on it when its dry outside)
