Since recently making a pom pom snowman for a Christmas photoshoot which I have shared on Pumpkin's thread - I have been looking into what other pom pom creations I could try to make on pintrest. I decided initially to try to make a fox but after looking through my wool I didn't have the right colour but one of the colours I considered using reminded me of Pumpkin's fur colour (albeit slightly darker but it had the same satin look to it). Then this idea came to me - why not make a Pom Pom hamster which looks like Pumpkin. It took a little while working out how to make the pattern to look similar to Pumpkin full band so it would look almost identical to her. It has actual turned out better than expected however now the only problem with this Pom Pom Pumpkin is that I had it sitting on my coffee table whilst Pumpkin was in her playbin and I kept catching it out of the corner of my eye and thought Pumpkin had escaped!
So here is my Pom Pom Pumpkin - I even included a photo from behind as that is Pumpkin's signature pose ...
Then I couldn't resist doing a photoshoot with Pumpkin with her double before she decided to knock it over and run off with all the treats!
