So, in an attempt to get Oliver more used to me I am talking to him in the dark. I was out this evening and got home at 11.45pm. He wasn’t out, so I waited. He was on his wheel at just after 1am, so I sat by his cage and had a chat to him. He listened and even came over cautiously to sniff me through the bars, but just quickly then he was off back to his wheel. A little step forward from hiding at any noise.

He is taking after Willow. Fine from the start, then go through a spell of hiding and nervousness. Hopefully he will gain confidence and be able to be handled, just like Willow.
