Maple loves cucumber and half a slice twice a week has never done her any harm! Also look at some other fresh foods, blueberries and spinach are favourites amongst mine. I believe fresh food isn't 100% necessary in a hamsters diet but more of just having some variation - eating the same hamster mix cant be that fun.
Just remember that giving a lot of moist food (say like a chunk of cucumber, a blueberry and some strawberry) on the same day can give them diarrhoea
