So I just adopted a hamster from someone who previously owned him for 6 months and decided to give him away. I just noticed something, when he runs on his wheel his back is arched. This means he has been running with his back arched on this wheel for 6 months. I read online that it means the wheel is too small and it will cause health issues. If he has been running on too small of a wheel for 6 months does he probably already have spine problems?
I'm going to buy him a bigger wheel tomorrow I'm just sad to see his previous owner let him live with such a small wheel for so long...
