Thank you for all your nice comments about the lovely Peach. She has super soft fur and I think she is a longhair. Miss Peach is a fairly shy hamster so far, and I'm content to let her be quiet in her burrow while she settles in. I always worry that a new hamster might be pregnant especially when their tummy is as fat as Peach's.
somehow Peach got out on her second night here and I knew nothing about it until I heard a noise behind a cupboard. There she was rolling a round chew about. I was so lucky, as I was just going out. Caught her, but I think she'll be harder to catch if she gets another chance.
Her base coat is quite creamy, wondering if she's honey coloured.
