As everyone else has said, it is nothing to worry about. The spider is in more danger than your hamster!
As for laying eggs on your hamster, this wouldn't happen. Spiders lay eggs in "egg sacks" which are basically made of cobweb and are usually found up in the corners of rooms where the walls meet the ceiling. These egg sacks are fairly big (about 1 cm or 2 across) so you'd spot them right away.
There's just as much danger of a spider choosing to lay eggs in your hamster's cage as in the rest of your house. Probably less.
