Wet tail drops are completely useless in preventing or curing wet tail. If a hamster becomes ill with P.I. the drops will only mask the symptoms, not cure the sickness. The only way to cure wet tail is to take your hamster to a vet where they will receive proper medication.

The best way to prevent wet tail is to keep a hamster's environment as low stress as possible since stress weakens the animal's immune system which allows them to become highly susceptible to the disease.
