Hello Hammie mom,
Glad you're enjoying hamsters second time around too. I also have started keeping the again. My husband is a martyr to hamsters. We have one in our bedroom and one in the sitting room and they have a shared exercise cage by the telly.
I recognise the OVO cage as we kept Ivy in it when she was a youngster. We changed her over to the wire type as we felt she was shut off from us while in it and she kept trying to chew her way out.
it sounds like one of those tank cages might be good for your ham, but I haven't used one myself. Hope your Hammy feels better soon. Ruth
