Default Hamster reaching the end.

Sorry if this is the wrong folder for this.

I'm afraid my beloved Syrian is nearing the end of her little life. She's about two years old now (she was a rescue so not 100% on that but she's definelt not under 2) and in the last month or so she's really slowed down. She's at the point now where she sleep most of the time, has stopped using her wheel and has lost a little bit of weight. I've also noticed when she drinks, it's really slow.
I posted a while ago about her having a suspicious lump and I wonder if that has much to do with it. Though taking her to the vet I was told because of her age there was little they could really do but to keep an eye on it.
She used to come out of her nest to suss out any little noise but now almost nothing wakes met. Twice I've been convinced she's passed already because of her not coming out.

As sad as I am, I knew this would have to happen one day.

But the reason for my post is just to get some idea of how the end usually is? Has anyone had a hamster go slowly like this? How long did it take for them to pass?
I want as much time with her as possible but I'm trying to be realistic. I'll have enough time to be heartbroken n after.

Any advice or experience would be very welcome.
Thanks x
