The P@H medium wire cage is 50cm X 30cm X 25cm which, in my opinion, is definitely too small (though P@H do advertise it as “suitable for 2 dwarf hamsters”!!!).
If your mum is being difficult about having 3 cages in the house, couldn’t you throw out the p@h medium cage and simply buy one more suitable for a dwarf hammy?
