Junk food comes in every single type of diet,as mentioned, whether you eat animal based foods or not. This applies to any species which is going to require some sort of animal matter in their diet, whether it be humans or otherwise.
At the end of the day, there are going to be inaccurate and misleading movies and articles.Take your time with any source of information, and do extra research to determine just how credible any single source is
Drago has a very interesting point mentioned, and it's something the forum definitely won't agree on.I wouldn't personally feed sugary storebought treats such as yogurt drops, but I will say that different fruit has different levels of sugar and could(depending on individual hamster reaction)potentially be safe enough for extremely rare special treats.

I would think doctors would be pretty credible since they have a phd and all but I'm more worried about wether or not I can give my hybrid dwarf hamster surgery thing like carrots or ham ham food that has molasses in it. Since I'm an idiot and did not check the label of the food.
