So many of you may know me from 6mth/year ago about being a new hamster owner and always asking for advice. Thanks to everyone on the forum, the internet and experience my two hamsters are doing brilliantly! Here's just a few sweet little perks of theirs:
Hammie
Hammies almost 2 years old now and still going so strong. Hes pure white and male. Taming him was an issue, he would trust me to take treats but would run away when I wanted to hold him. He also bit me a few times and displayed some weird behaviour! Lol. He has a cute little personality, he LOVES his sandbath... although he uses it as a potty *doh* this is how silly he is lol! He loves being handled and walking over me, especially biting my freckles. He often gets out of bed the same time my mum returns home and sits on the ledge waiting quietly for attention. When I give him food from his bowl, he takes it and instantly puts it back in the bowl
Bob
Bob also had taming issues. He's coming up to a year now. He's also a cute little character, too! He's packed his bags and moved out of his house and now CREATES his own little den in the corner. He now uses his house as a pee and food storage area.. (yuck!) He has a massive wheel and he's so active. He's also very inquisitive. 1 thing he's famous for in my house is he's a massive climber. He climbs upside down and walks. He also slides down his wheel. He seems to be having the time of his life! It's so funny to walk into the room and hes just monkey-barring. Although he doesn't do this all the time, he's usually running on the wheel!
