A
Detolf is actually a glass cabinet, which when laid down on its side, makes an
amazing hamster home. All it would need is something to seal the edges/corners, and a DIY lid. There are lots of tutorials online, but it does need a lot of room (it's 163x43cm/65x17in).
An alternative would be the
Samla which is smaller than the Detolf, but does fit the minimum recommended (78x56cm/30x22in) and only really needs some ventilation added.
