I also like the damp paper towel idea. But, be careful not to get her tummy wet or she might get a chill. It might be quicker to simply hold her upside down and clean her paws with a damp cloth or towel. I know Marti is a very tame little Miss! It’s for eventualities like these that it helps to have them accustomed to the idea of being held lying on their backs (plus for health checks etc). I think breeders usually practise this with their hams and as Marti is from a breeder, I am sure she will let you do it.
