He should be just fine. I too have accidentally sprayed things I really shouldn't have near my hamsters and they've all generally been just fine with it. These are tougher little critters than we give them credit for. Keep an eye on him and if he changes or seems to be sickly at all, take him to a qualified exotics vet as soon as you can. Best wishes
