Ok for a few days until you get a replacement possibly, but it can cause them to develop back pain and spinal problems running in a wheel that's too small and they are curved in. Often the hammy will stop using the wheel and go a bit stir crazy if it's too small as well.

You could get the 8" or the 11" trixie wheel, but as she might grow a bit more it might be better to get the 11" one to save having to possibly upgrade it again. It's a very popular size/wheel for Syrians and isn't drastically expensive.

This is our baby Syrian at 6 and a half weeks and quite small, running in a 12" wheel It's the 12" Silent "runner" (not spinner). It's quite an expensive wheel at £25 but it's very good, spins very easily and is silent. It's also quite safe and sturdy. Either of those wheels would be good for your hammy You can fast forward the video to the wheel running bit

His back isn't bending at the moment, he is very small for a Syrian! Smaller than my gerbils were! I'm just gutted I threw their 7.5 wheel out
