I'd love to let her roam free, but our apartment is pretty big and there's so much stuff in the rooms, and a lot of different wires. That's completely understandable. Safety always comes first and a good sized playpen can be just as beneficial as free roaming. I think there may be threads on here by members who have built their own playpens, which might give you some inspiration.
