I've never seen a hamster behave like this. Lazy baby hamster.
Hi. Here I am back again and it's been a long time! My last hamster mustard sadly left me a few years back and until now I've not had another hamster, my son Dexter wanted one so my home is now complete once again with Gilbert our new member of the family.
I am a little concerned about him though, basically he is so laid back and friendly and was sitting with us on the first day,this was kind of expected as the petshop he came from really care and handle their animals before they sell, but....
You put him in his ball he walks a little then stops....
You hold him he is more interested in nibbling your clothes which I've never seen before?
He is as tame as any hamster I'd had for weeks and we have had him three days...
He wakes up goes on his wheel for a hour or so then sleeps again.
He really isnt that active at all.
Basically he is most lazy and the lady in the shop said he is only around ten weeks. Is this all normal? He is so beautiful and adorable I'm quite concerned about him, he is eating and drinking and weeing and pooping normally.
