Is there any way you could stop in between parts of the drive?If so,it would be possible to take her with you.You'd need to take the same precautions as with any bit of travel,of course with it being more difficult as it is a much longer trip.

As for the snake,they'll be fine as long as you keep them warm.Hand warming packs tend to work well for that(just make sure they're kept a safe distance away),and can generally be purchased easily from most gas stations and Walmart along with other stores if you need to get replacement packs at some point.

Shipping animals is definitely best avoided,and since it isn't necessary in this situation I wouldn't bother with it.
