Welcome to Hamster Central! I read your post and that sounds like a tough choice. More than a week later, did you decide between one or the other? I don't know which one I would choose if I were in your shoes. Is the age known for the hamster at the adoption website? Considering that hamsters do not live long, that might also be a deciding factor.
