You could definitely feed some extras, a mealworm or two & things like flax, hemp, sunflower & pumpkin seeds, even the occasional piece of walnut, small amounts of plain cooked chicken or dried chicken once or twice a week would be good too.
I would go for the seeds more than mealworms or chicken though as she's not that young any more so won't need that much extra protein, giving too much protein when they're older puts a bit of a strain on the kidneys.
Ok will try thatx

A few healthy extras (in moderation) won't hurt, but certainly don't go overboard and feed so many he stops eating his normal food. I would be more inclined to say that if he seems healthy and eats well, his weight shouldn't be overly concerning. Cypher has a few good suggestions for extras. If you are particularly concerned about teeth, nuts and seeds in the shell are the best way to go. Sunflower seeds are always a HUGE hit with Larry-Jasper.
My problem is shes never been that keen on seeds because the other ham used to eat them all so she doesnt really eat many maybe one or two sunflowers but not pumpkin she loves millet and the oats in her mix thoughx will try and give some flax.
