Aww Bambi looks really sweet in those photos, looks like you're handling him just fine too.
One thing I notice in the photos is the substrate in his cage doesn't look very deep, hard to tell for sure as I can't see the whole cage but if you can I would put more in so he can have a good dig & burrow in there.
