It sounds like a good day's work even though it wasn't exactly celebrating a birthday - but it will be worthwhile. And you can celebrate on a different day
We do that with stepson as he is rarely here on his actual birthday so we just do it again another day
I think it's important to celebrate every single one of them as we never know how many we will have on this planet lol!
