Actually, the single space thing goes for all hamsters. When there is a single hamster living in multiple cages without a direct connection, it doesn't allow for a proper space to run around in. The hamster feels trapped. Habitrail ovo would only work in the situation where it is connected to a cage that is larger than the minumum cage size.
