As Amity says the antibiotics won't cure pyo but it does sound as though it's more likely to be a UTI so fingers crossed the meds will do the trick & she'll be fine.
I always give probiotics during & after antibiotics (not at the same time as the meds, a few hours apart is best) you can get them online or from P@H or other pet shops, most people use this one.
Good to hear she's bonding so well with you now.
