I first noticed Khalis....smell about 2 weeks ago. I posted a thread on here thinking the awful smell was coming from the wheel. Thanks to the advice on here, I learnt that she will smell like burnt plastic every 4 days haha. Lucky me. She has been in heat twice since then and is just about to hit her 3rd ( the give away signs being she is rubbing against everything and being a loon). Its never been as bad of a smell as that first time, maybe because now i actually know what it is and where its coming from. I will certainly invest in one of those pet safe things just in case the smell gets bad again
